Johnson Law have published a new infographic based on latest statistics from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) which confirm that tragically 148 people were fatally injured at work in the UK over 2012 and 2013. These statistics and the following infographic highlight the importance of the fact that employers have a duty to protect their employees, regardless of whether they work on a building site or in an office – if employers don’t maintain their duty of care, for instance, by not providing a safe working environment, there could be big costs for their business.
