Law Idol: The No Win No Fee Internship

Thompsons Personal Injury Solicitors Scotland are announcing a new, imaginative and fun way to offer students a No Win No Fee Internship at one of their offices in Scotland.

I’m sure this will take a few people back to the days when they were students looking for a summer job and ending up working in bars or cafes which would pay the bills but probably not much more! I presume leaving little time or money for socialising with friends and family.

Looking back I bet people would have jumped at the chance to win a summer placement with one of Scotland’s top law firms.
Thompsons offering students a summer placement at one of their Scottish offices means there is no need for bus journeys to an interview, students can sit in the comfort of their own home write a blog post and get their friends to recommend it on social networking sites…….it really couldn’t be easier!

So who can enter?  Law Idol is open to all students at colleges and Universities throughout Scotland;
What subject will the post be on? All entrants can choose between No Win No Fee, Car Accidents or Accidents at Work;
How long should the blog post be? The post should be between 300 and 500 words;
Is there a deadline for submission? Yes, posts submitted after midnight on the 31st March 2011 will not be entered.
Competitions like this bridge the gap between the classroom and the working world and provide invaluable experience for students looking to get a head start in one of the most competitive industries.
