Couples who take vows of honoring each other till time does them apart might also decide on taking a divorce when things take a toll. Similarly, Hollywood’s most talked about star couple is in the lime light once again, with this very similar situation of parting ways and ending a very personal relationship. The lavishing actress Katie Holmes and the heartthrob Tom Cruise are getting divorced after their five years of marriage.

The Mission Impossible actor started dating the beautiful Katie in the year 2005. Gradually, they announced their relationship, got married and stayed together for 5 years, blessed with a had a daughter named Suri. However, this shocking news of split between the celebrities is a devastating and saddened news for the actor as well, as informed by various reliable sources. One of the prime reasons behind the breakdown of such a high profile marriage is their six-year-old daughter named Suri.

The divorce case is filed by the “Dawson’s creek” actress against Tom Cruise and it looks like she is looking for the sole legal and physical custody of the child. The actress is not in favor of Scientology religion and its teachings since the beginning.
