Brittany L. Lightfoot was raised in Onalaska, Texas, and currently resides in Dallas, Texas. Brittany, a first-generation college graduate, obtained an academic scholarship to attend Sam Houston State University where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Political Science. After graduation, she attended law school at Texas Tech University School of Law on an academic scholarship. While in law school, Brittany worked at a family law firm under a supervisory bar card and was secretary of the Raider Bar Association. Brittany graduated from the Texas Tech University School of Law in 2022 and was admitted to the Texas bar in 2022.
Upon graduation, Brittany began her legal career in the complex commercial litigation and criminal defense sector where she gained invaluable trial experience litigating numerous multi-million-dollar cases in state court. After numerous years in litigation, Brittany decided to transition to pre-litigation. Since joining Thompson Law, Brittany has represented clients in personal injury accidents, such as, auto accidents, truck wrecks, pedestrian accidents, motorcycle crashes, general negligence, wrongful death, and premises liability cases.
Outside of the office, Brittany is a member of the State Bar of Texas LeadershipSBOT program, Leadership Forward, and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers 2023-2024 Leadership class. Brittany enjoys playing tennis, spending time with friends and family, and serving the community.
