Clare is a Partner based in our South Coast Family team with national, regional, and international clients, having joined Irwin Mitchell as a Partner in 2015, she has over 30 years of experience in family law matters. Clare specializes in all aspects of family law and leads our international family team dealing with international issues, both in relation to finance and children.

She’s a member of Resolution and Reunite (the leading UK charity specializing in child abduction) and deals with abduction and international relocation cases. Clare is one of the few English Fellows of the prestigious International Academy of Family Lawyers based outside of London.

Her Court of Appeal case of Brack v Brack drew on her experience in international pre-nuptial agreements and international finance/tax-related matters, frequently arising in cross-border, multi-national cases. Clare is also regarded as an expert in inter-generational wealth protection and the drafting of pre-nuptial agreements. She has been instructed as an expert, by foreign courts, in international cases.
