Evan G.E. Vincent, Fantastic Dispute Resolution Lawyer in Oklahoma
Overview & Experience
About Evan G.E. Vincent
Evan Vincent specializes in the litigation process. He knows how to use the procedures and rules that govern civil lawsuits to his clients’ advantage, and he has the skills and experience to take a case to trial in front of a judge or a jury. He also knows how to evaluate when it’s appropriate to take a case to trial and when it’s best to resolve the case another way. In representing clients in litigation, Evan works to “see the whole board” when formulating a strategy for resolution, and he recognizes that a client’s optimal outcome often depends on economic and relationship factors that exist separate from the underlying merits of the case.
Evan has worked on the trial team or served as lead counsel in numerous large and complex cases during his career, including matters requiring evidence collection from locations in Europe and Asia. He has tried cases to verdict in Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Arkansas and has represented clients on the plaintiff and the defense side in commercial and personal injury matters. He was inducted as a Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”) in 2023, and at the time of his induction he also held the distinction of being the youngest member of the Oklahoma ABOTA Chapter.
Evan has always enjoyed and excelled in math, science and other subjects that present an intellectual challenge. While this is what motivated him to earn his degree in Aerospace Engineering, he chose to pursue law based on another of his favorite challenges: public speaking. One of the strongest influences in Evan’s life is his grandfather, Dr. Don Rhinehart, who said that “each of us have some expertise that should be utilized to the fullest to help others.” He works to apply his grandfather’s words directly to his practice, and throughout his career he has used his ability to understand and explain numbers and scientific concepts to assist clients with issues that range from complex engineering questions to aspects of complicated financial transactions and accounting matters.
Evan has taught Civil Pretrial Litigation as an adjunct professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Law since 2016. He has been inducted as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America, achieved the Advocate designation from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, and has an AV peer review rating from LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell. He was named a Rising Star by Oklahoma Super Lawyers from 2012 to 2023, listed as an Oklahoma Future Star by Benchmark Litigation since 2018, named to Benchmark Litigation’s 40 & Under Hot List seven times, has been listed in Best Lawyers since 2019 and has been ranked as Up and Coming by Chambers USA in Litigation: General Commercial since 2024.
