About Lawyer Melanie Thorley

I’ve been working within the legal industry for nearly a decade and in early 2014, I founded my own practice, MJT Law. I received a recommendation in the Doyles 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2022 listing of leading Employee Queensland Employment Law Firms practicing within the areas of employment and industrial relations matters

I am often described as tenacious, thorough, and reliable; however, I do have a mischievous side that often gets me into exciting situations. It has also allowed me to travel the world, living in 11 countries along the way and visiting many more including Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Morocco, Canada, and the Cook Islands as well as most of Europe, not to mention taking the enormous steps to run my own business back in Australia.
