Mike's journey to becoming a personal injury attorney dates back to his very early days of law school. During his first year of law school, through the school's mentor program, he shadowed a fellow personal injury attorney here in the Twin Cities. During this experience, he got the opportunity to witness firsthand the profound impact that a personal injury attorney can have on someone's life when they are going through a very difficult and confusing time. That experience confirmed that he knew this was something he wanted to be a part of. From that moment on, Mike has worked in personal injury ever since. He has also since changed roles from mentee to mentor and currently serves as a mentor for the St. Thomas mentor program. Most recently, Mike was selected for a board position to serve on the St. Thomas Law School Alumni Board.
Prior to joining Nicolet Law, Mike practiced personal injury at two medium-sized law firms in the Twin Cities. Along the way, he gained incredibly valuable experience representing his fellow Minnesotans on a wide variety of personal injury matters.
When not practicing law, Mike can be found spending much needed time with family, friends, and his dog. Mike also enjoys living an active lifestyle and has been a lifelong Minnesota sports fan.
