Reviewing and choosing some of the best lawyers for a legal directory or legal resources website isn’t easy. At Five Fantastic Lawyers™ our mission is to help people a bit more in their step to find the right lawyer for their legal needs, which could help make a significant difference in the lives of people, or indeed in the lifespans of companies, with some of their biggest challenges. By narrowing down the choices and providing notes on their genuine online reviews, we are aiming to help individuals and companies make more informed decisions when selecting a lawyer.
Here are some of the steps we have been taking and considering taking to help review and choose some of the best lawyers and indeed steps which you could take if you’re also thinking of publishing related information online:-
- Define what is a “top lawyer” for each legal issue: Identify the key factors that make a lawyer exceptional in a particular area of law. This may include their experience, expertise, track record, client testimonials, peer recognition, and any other relevant qualifications.
- Create a comprehensive database of lawyers: Compile a database of lawyers specialising in different areas of law, including their contact information, areas of expertise, and relevant background details.
- Establish a review system and identify the best online review platforms for lawyers: Develop a system for collecting genuine online reviews from clients who have worked with the lawyers in your database. Ensure that the reviews are authentic and can be trusted by implementing verification processes and guidelines. Google Reviews, Trustpilot, Avvo and ReviewSolicitors are some of the top sites for lawyer reviews currently
- Implement a ranking system: Design a ranking system that incorporates both objective criteria (such as years of experience) and subjective factors (such as client reviews) to determine the top five lawyers for each legal issue. Consider using algorithms or expert evaluations to ensure fairness and accuracy in the rankings. You’ll see within our pages that reviews are based on reviews, expertise, experience, reputation and more. We’ll be making public our own ranking system that’s used in due course.
- Provide a user-friendly search platform: Create a user-friendly website or platform where people can search for lawyers based on their legal issue. The platform should allow users to filter and refine their search based on specific criteria, such as location, expertise, and ratings.
- Offer additional resources: In addition to providing the top five lawyer recommendations, consider offering educational resources, such as legal articles, guides, and FAQs, to help users better understand their legal needs and make informed decisions.
- Continuously update and improve the platform: Regularly update your database, reviews, and rankings to ensure the information remains accurate and up to date. Incorporate user feedback and suggestions to improve the user experience and meet their evolving needs.
- Market your platform: Promote your platform through various channels, such as social media, legal directories, online advertisements, and partnerships with other legal organizations or platforms. Focus on reaching your target audience and raising awareness about the benefits of using your service.
